Vantic for Rust Console Edition

Rust Console Live Map and Player Radar

Your map, your players, honest timestamps on every dot - and every image watermark-protected.

The map is yours

Enter your map seed once and Vantic generates the actual console-accurate map image, protected by the Vantic watermark tiled into the pixels themselves - screenshots and reposts always carry the mark.

ZORP protection zones draw straight onto it as rings: green for raidable bases, red for sealed ones, so admins read the whole battlefield at a glance.

Positions without pretending

Console servers only answer one position query at a time, so every radar in this space refreshes players over tens of seconds. The difference is honesty: Vantic stamps every dot with its real age - green under fifteen seconds, amber under forty-five, red beyond - instead of presenting stale positions as live.

Polling is deliberately gentle, one player per tick, so the radar never floods your server's console or slows the game.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the map image come from?

It is generated from your map seed and world size - the same inputs your host panel shows - so it matches what players see in game.

How live is the radar really?

Each player's position refreshes roughly every 30 seconds on a ten-player server, and every dot shows its actual age. No radar on console can do true real-time - Vantic is just the one that says so.

Can other people steal my map image?

Every served map carries the Vantic watermark tiled across the whole image and composited into the pixels, so saved or cropped copies always keep the mark.

Does the radar show raid protection zones?

Yes - ZORP zones render as green or red rings directly on the map.
