Rust Console Map Generator

Enter any seed and world size and see the console-accurate terrain - the same map your players get in game. Free, no login.

Where do I find my seed?

Your host panel (G-Portal or Nitrado) shows the seed and world size in the server settings. World sizes run 1000 to 4500 - 3000 is the most common. Trying seeds before wipe day is the classic use: find terrain your community will love before you commit.

Preview a custom map before wipe day

Running custom worldgen commands on your Rust Console server? Open the advanced section, paste the same commands (terrain shape, elevation, ocean level, borders) and the generator renders the exact terrain those settings produce. Two console quirks worth knowing: monuments only spawn on the mainland island closest to the map centre, and mountains above roughly 500m wrap into deep ocean pockets - preview first and you will never wipe into a broken map.

Want this map live, with your players on it?

Vantic servers get this exact map as a live radar: player positions with honest freshness, raid-protection zones drawn on top, and every image watermark-protected.

Designing a map from scratch?

Map renders here come from rcemaps.com, the specialist Rust Console map tool - for deep map design (shape presets, finding a seed by painting an island outline, a full worldgen command encyclopedia) go straight to the source. Preview your finished map here, copy the boot commands, and your Vantic radar picks it up on wipe day.
