Terms of Service

Vantic is a management platform for Rust Console Edition communities. It connects to game servers you control, provides a Discord bot and web dashboard, and offers an optional storefront through which communities sell their own in-game packages. These terms are an agreement between you and Vantic, operated from Australia. By creating an account or adding the bot to a Discord server, you accept them.

You sign in with Discord; you are responsible for the security of that Discord account. You may only connect game servers you own or are authorised to administer. Server connection credentials you provide are encrypted at rest and used solely to operate the features you enable.

Premium is billed per server, in advance, on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout. Prices may include applicable taxes such as GST, which are shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; your subscription then runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew.

Because Vantic is a digital service and access begins immediately, all sales are final. Subscription payments are not refundable, in whole or in part, except where a refund is required by law.

The storefront lets a community sell its own in-game packages to its own players. Vantic provides the storefront technology only. The server owner is the seller of record for every storefront sale: the sale is between the player and that community, and the community is responsible for delivering what it sells, for its own pricing, and for handling refunds and disputes with its buyers.

Vantic charges the community a platform fee on each storefront sale. That fee pays for the transaction being processed and delivered, and is not refundable, including when the community refunds its buyer.

Do not use Vantic to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, to interfere with the service or other communities, or in violation of the terms of Discord, the game, or your hosting provider. Storefront items must be deliverable in-game packages; selling anything unlawful or deceptive is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms.

We build for reliability and monitor the platform around the clock, but Vantic depends on third parties we do not control, including Discord, game hosting providers, and payment processors. The service is provided as-is and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced through the dashboard or Discord, and continuing to use Vantic after they take effect means you accept them.
